Pollinator Book Volume II

Within the City of Manassas, is the Manassas City Beautification Committee. This committee is comprised of volunteer residents who are passionate about keeping the community “beautiful,” volunteering their time at City events, and enhancing shared green spaces.

One of the main educational efforts the committee develops, is an annual Pollinator Book for all ages. I wrote both of the Forewords for each book introducing the year’s theme. Below is from the 2023 edition with a primary focus on native pollinators and non-bee pollinators, all of whom are important for our ecosystems.
